Bouncing back!

It has been since last June that both of us have been healthy and feeling like we were ready to jump back into life with both feet.

It all started with Covid and it has been a ride. By the end of 2022 we thought finally “we are feeling better” and 2023 will be an awesome year. But so far 2023 has been filled with challenge after challenge…I know it is early in the year and I am hoping it will get better, pulling all the positive energy in and looking forward.

We have plans for camping, gardening, playing at Sand Mountain, Motorcycle rallies, family BBQs, celebrating birthday’s with family and friends, taking evening walks, and any other adventures that comes our way.

We started with the yard last weekend taking care of our one and only tree. Watch the video.

This coming weekend if going to be family fun with kids and grandkids. It the weather holds we will be playing corn hole, ping pong, and eating corned beef and cabbage. May the luck of the Irish be with you! LOL

Our adventures continue, come along with us. There is never a dull moment living life! Enjoying and sharing good times.

About the author

Hi, I’m Sheila Joy-Lorntzen—a photographer, storyteller, and adventurer based in the beautiful high deserts of Nevada. With a camera in hand and a love for capturing life’s moments, I specialize in teaching others how to see the world through a photographer’s lens.

When I’m not leading photo walks or mentoring aspiring photographers, you’ll find me baking sourdough bread, documenting the journey of building our homestead, or exploring new landscapes for inspiration. I believe photography is more than taking pictures; it’s about connecting, learning, and finding beauty in the everyday.
